Being self centered is never a more important attribute than when it comes to buying a home! There are many Realtors that choose to look "for you" It is a much better idea to be looking with your! Wow, this is a no brainer! A Realtor is licensed by the State and Nation. The Realtor works hard for their client and only makes money once successfully finding a buyer their dream home or helping a seller successfully sell their home in this challenging real estate market. Choosing a Realtor should be based upon the ability, knowledge, confidence, reputation, local knowledge and a feeling that your being truly professionally represented. Don't get me wrong, we all will list a home anywhere if the listing falls in our laps! However, I always prefer to refer an out of area listing to a local Realtor that knows that market and the Realtors that will be bring in the most qualified, motivated buyers! Check out some of the nightmares I seen here in the Santa Clarita Valley, California when a home is listed by an out of area Broker: Homes have been listed in the wrong City! Homes have been listed in the wrong MLS System! Homes have had the wrong Supra Lock Box! … (7 comments)
