A report be CoreLogic shows that the current mortgage delinquency rate is now at pre-pandemic levels. Mortgage delinquencies in October of 2021 are 3.8%. Family, Friends, Clients and all, The stock market remains on fire while the real estate market seems to have run out of gas. Home prices have levelled off and price reductions are running rampant. The Santa Clarita Valley is made up of six areas which include Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Saugus, Castaic, Newhall and Canyon Country. The Santa Clarita Valley encompasses six areas which include the City of Santa Clarita and surrounding unincorporated areas. These six areas are called Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Castaic, Saugus, Canyon Country and Newhall. There are currently 679 active listings in all of the Santa Clarita Valley. Home prices have risen dramatically in the past two years. The rising prices have allow many home owners to finally gain equity and thus be able to sell at a profit and move to another home or community. Some home buyers refuse to work with anyone except the listing agent. This approach is not only ridiculous buy against the buyer's best interest. This type of buyer has a couple of thoughts in mind. We knew it would happen! Prices rise and inventories will grow. However this growth of available homes for sale has done nothing to lower the demand for well priced and located homes.
