orange county: Labor Day Weekend, the End of a Sad Summer - 09/02/20 08:08 PM
Happy Labor Day,

What a sad year for all of us. We have been forced to live life as if we were a third world nation. Masks, home-bound, no indoor eating at restaurants, small businesses going bankrupt, many businesses hanging on by a thread, hospitalizations and loss of life is hurting our American Spirit. The Stock Market and Real Estate Market remain strong.
Labor Day Weekend, just like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day & Easter will not be as enjoyable of events as we usually enjoy. We, as Americans, will keep our eyes on the future knowing that better days are ahead … (14 comments)

orange county: Election 2020 Is it time to sell? - Summit Real Estate Group - 07/23/20 09:47 AM
Dear Family, Friends & Clients,
There are three main reasons that a home doesn’t sell within three months at this time. Two are avoidable and I can solve the third one. The number one reason by far is not listing the home at a price that will bring in the maximum number of highly qualified buyers. The second is not having a quality Virtual Tour and Photos. The third is not hiring an Experienced, Knowledgeable, Professional Local Realtor. We have been listing and selling homes since 1996. We know that reaching our fellow Realtors is the key to bringing in the most … (6 comments)

orange county: Looking towards the future, Tony & Dani Lewis Summit Real Estate Group - 05/02/20 09:08 PM
Friends, Family & Clients,
The future is uncertain due to the pandemic and home sales in California will most likely fall due to the corona-virus. However, home prices may stay at or near current values or even rise due to significantly lower interest rates. Stock prices and economic uncertainty is a cloud hanging over all of us. Our hope is for a V or U-Shaped-Recovery. Each day, week and month ahead will inevitably lead to significant changes. People returning to work, stay at home order ending and returning to a more normal and stable life will give all of us much needed … (1 comments)

orange county: Do you realize that we can not avoid going into a recession? - 03/11/20 04:04 PM
It is already too late to avoid a worldwide recession.  Too many jobs have been lost, events cancelled, paychecks missed, mortgage paymense unpaid and net worth devastated.  Talk of a cure being at least a year ago has shattered consumer confidence.
This post is not meat to create fear but prepare you for a rough ride ahead.  Protect your finances.  Be careful on your spending and warn your friends, neighbors and family of impending turmoil.

orange county: What Dave Ramsey (Debt Free Guru) won't tell you. - 01/12/20 06:50 PM
The quickest and safest way to become a millionaire is through home ownership. The secret to becoming a multi-millionaire is by getting into debt. The reason is simple. It is called leverage. We can buy a primary residence of $500,000 with a $15,000 down payment. Real Estate in California traditionally appreciates around 6% to 7% per year. This is a great return on your investment. However, that is not the benefit. Consider that you have only invested the original 3% your return over ten years may rise to well over $250,000. This is a return of about 17 times the original … (5 comments)
