Dear Clients, Friends and Fellow Realtors, The number of active listings in the entire Santa Clarita Valley are alarmingly low. There are only 328 active listing in all 6 areas of our quaint valley. Here are the numbers by area: Valencia 82 - Stevenson Ranch - 14 Castaic 27 - Saugus 109 - Canyon Country 76 - Newhall 47 These numbers are extremely unhealthy for the recovery of our local real estate market. There are different types of relationships such as Stranger, not wanting anything to give or take, acquaintance, usually usually someone that only cares what you can give them, friend usually someone that is willing to give as much as they receive and Love meaning someone that gives not wanting or expecting anything in return. It is unfathomable for me to believe or understand why so many Realtor refuse to promote the belief that the real estate market has bottomed out and this is the best time in decades to buy a home. Traditionally December brings the lowest interest rates of the year. December of 2010 has given us about a 1/2 % Rise in interest rates. Traditionally December brings out the least buyers. This story reads like a psycho Halloween story! I have been working with a mortgage broker for the past three years. This lender had been a trusted friend prior to earning my respect and referral business. This gentleman became my go to guy and my first choice of lenders to get my clients qualified and approved for a loan. Well guess what happened last night.
