Next weekend brings the Anthem Autumnfest to town. The festivities include the "back by popular demand" Apple Pie Baking Contest, the Pumpkin Patch where for a nominal fee you can pick your own pumpkin just in time for Halloween, backed by live music, a strolling magician and ballon artists. To top it all off, there are a plethora of Arts & Crafts vendors as well as carnival rides.

Welcome to our first ANFSCD post aka "And Now For Something Completely Different". The topic today is significant for many - and does impact me personally. Health Insurance companies are making significant changes in their Individual Insurance Plans on offer for 2016. It appears that BlueCross BlueShield across the nation has reviewed the 2014 (first year of the "new" plans) and determined that the Individual PPOs are too costly and therefore will no longer be offered in 2016. Or in this case uploading an HD photo to my AR Profile was worth just over a thousand points, nudging me over the 500,000 point mark. And with that, Suzanne and I will now be joining forces on our Active Rain blog.
