Today, I thought I would take time away from real estate to send a friendly message about this special time of year. Here it is again, the holiday season!! It seems like Christmas and the New Year come around quicker and quicker each year(I think this comes with getting older). This is one of my favorite times of the year. In the last few days, I have been to several holiday parties and events. I cannot count how many times I was asked "is the market as bad as they say it is?". With all the media attention on the mortgage and foreclosure crisis, and the latest report of market value declines in many major U.S. cities, one of the first things a person says to me when they find out I am a realtor is, "is the market as bad as they say it is?"
