Your email signature is like your online business card. While it should have all the pertinent information on it like name, phone number, etc, you should also think of it as a marketing tool to promote yourself and your business wherever you venture online. I'm always surprised to see how many lost opportunities and unprofessional looking signatures come through my inbox daily!
