Sitting on the slopes of Mauna Kahalawai (the house or place of water) overlooking the beautiful pacific ocean and world renowned Ka'anapali resort is Ka'anapali Hillside. This subdivision is not gated, but there are some extremely nice homes in this area. The Ohbayashi Hawaii Corporation successfully sold this community of quarter acre fee simple home sites in the 1980s. Phase I consisted of 24 home sites, Phase II-A consists of 40 sites, and Phase II-B consist of 67 sites. The vast majority of the subdivision is built out, but there are still some vacant lots for sale in the subdivision.
