Last year my friend and I found this wonderful recipe on http://www.crockpot.com/ and thought I would share it! I am also going to include my variations. This is a wonderuly hearty soup, perfect for a cold day, or any day! We made it for our camping trip that way there was always warm food and we didn't have to worry about cooking.
