Water leaks and moisture damage will always be a concern for home buyer. No one wants to be surprised in the future of an undisclosed water leak, so detecting problem areas is important. Often times the evidence of a previous leak can be subtle, but if you know what to look for that can be helpful.

I had the privilege of spending some time down in Calaveras County this weekend. During a break in the volunteer work, I got a chance to walk around the grounds at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds. It looks like part of the grounds is being used by Smokey-the-Bear; and the message about “Only you can prevent Forest Fires”.

Have you ever worked with a contractor where the job just seems to drag on and on? Wouldn’t it be great to have a sign that could be posted, declaring the area a “Slow Construction Zone”?
 
This sign made me laugh a bit today.
