Earlier this month, the federal government has launced rules to help facilitate short sales. Some homeowners are unable to complete a short sale or those who don't qualify for one may have an alternative to forclosure.
Such an alternative is a "deed in lieu of foreclosure," an agreement which allows you to voluntarily turn the deed to your house over to the lender.

I recently listened to a presentation by realestatetomato.com and began to realize that we are providing millions of pages of of unique content to the ActiveRain site for free.  Should Activerain be paying us for all of our great content, since we are helping increase thier seo for free?  What do you think about this. More importantly, what do you think about setting up company wide blog sites for our companies and agents.  Shouldn't we be generating our own sites like activerain to push readers to our own sites?  Just a thought.

I hosted and taught the Web 2.0 Class today held in our Placerville office.  It was a true success. Every agent in attendance found a real value.  The tough part is actually getting them to implement the technology into their business plan.
