Some Members of the Military are still Eligible for the Home Buyer Tax Credit The Home Buyers Tax Credit that expired on April 30, 2010 is still available for some members of the military, foreign services and intelligence community. Due to the unique travel requirements of these lines of work, Congress has extended the deadline.
