Have you seen the ads? "Free Horses to a good home", "Horses for sale or trade, anything considered".
The ads are everywhere, local newspapers, Craigslist and Backpage anywhere you can post an ad, especially if you don't have to pay for the ad since all your money is tied up in horses you can't give away.
Often advertised as pasture pets or pasture buddy, usually with the some reference to we just have too many horses and can't feed them all.
