Hi folks. Don't you just hate dislike verbal offers? Next time you have a REALTOR(R) wanting to present a verbal offer, why not try this? OK, a REALTOR(R) calls me up with a verbal offer from his Buyer for one of my listings. It goes something like this: "Hi Broker Bryant I have an offer for your listing. My Buyer is only in town for a few hours and wants to make a verbal offer so we don't waste our time." "I'm sorry my Seller will not negotiate verbally. I had a call earlier today, from a Buyer, that had seen one of my listings yesterday with another REALTOR®. She called to let me know that she really liked the house and she wanted to make an offer. Now folks, I like offers, so this sounded pretty good to me. So like the good little Broker that I am I suggested she call her REALTOR® and have them write it up and send it over to me. Well, she didn't want to do this. She wanted me to write it up because she figured she would "get a better deal" … (71 comments)
