The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce held it’s Business Development Week Awards Banquet last night where the winner was announced. Gail Armstrong, Ex. Dir of SPCA Suncoast; Joe Alpine of the Chamber, and Bonnie Howard, our new Honorary Governor. Bonnie and her committee raised over $10,000 (great job) to be divided between the SPCA Suncoast and the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce. Business Development Week continued last week at Marchman Tech Center in New Port Richey-Florida with sessions all day on Wednesday. A delicious luncheon was catered by the culinary arts students. Scott Fink, the owner of Hyundai of New Port Richey and Hyundai and Mazda of Westley Chapel, was our keynote speaker with an interesting and enlightening talk about success in business and motivating others.

The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce held the kick-off luncheon for Business Development Week on Monday at Spartan Restaurant in New Port Richey, Florida. Mark Royals, a 15 year veteran of the NFL who played with the Tampa Bay Bucs, was the speaker. The Business Card Exchange and Mixer is tonight at 5pm at Fox Hollow Country Club in Trinity, Florida. Windsong Charters is a local sailing charter business located in the Gulf Harbors area. They also have boat, pontoon, kayak and canoe rentals. The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce ended Business Development Week 2010 with the Business Expo at Gulfview Square Mall in Port Richey. 40 or so business were there to talk to interested persons about their various businesses. The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce Business Card Exchange and Mixer was held last night at the Timber Greens clubhouse. There were approximately 100 people there to meet each other, exchange cards, and talk about their businesses. The mixer started at 5:30 and continued till 8:00. It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of talking going on. Door prizes were given out to several lucky winners. This was a free event for any businesses in the area.
