chasco fiesta: Not the Queen-But It Was an Honor to be Nominated-Chasco Fiesta Coronation Ball - 04/08/11 12:20 PM
Well, if you recall. a few weeks ago I told you about being nominated for Queen Chasco in the Chasco Fiesta Coronation Ball (for my SPCA involvement). See  I’m Practicing the Queen’s Wave. There was much anticipation; had to buy a long, formal gown; had to make sure Craig’s black suit was dusted off. I got messages every few days from the ladies in charge (Tina Shelton and Jamie Mick-both nominees themselves) updating me on where to go and what to do. (I don’t usually let people get away with that but in this case, I waived my orneriness). This entire … (17 comments)

chasco fiesta: Chasco Fiesta in New Port Richey-FLorida-Bowling Tournament - 04/07/11 08:36 AM
Chasco Fiesta 2011 in New Port Richey-Florida is just a memory, but one of the really fun events was the Young Professionals Group's  Bowling Tournament.   We had prizes for best team theme (I was one of the judges) and, of course, prizes for highest scores. The winner of last year’s tournament did not repeat their win this year, Team Maaco was the winner and got to take home the trophy. The event raised a lot of money for local community charities.
