It is  low volume irrigation, also known as drip irrigation, that allows you to add flowers and plants to your gardens while saving on water volume.  When used properly it can add to  your landscape irrigation  by putting water exactly where you want it. Especially if you need to water flowers more often than grass or bushes. We also use it to water potted plants on the patio and by our very sunny front door for flowers and plants that need more water.

florida: John Chesnut Park - Palm Harbor, FL - 04/20/15 11:44 PM
John Chesnut Park - Palm Harbor, FL John Chesnut Park is one of the most interesting parks in our area and we go often. Yesterday, our classic car club – AACA-Richey Region had it’s annual picnic there. We had a great time as usual and there was plenty to eat. I did a blog about the park a couple of years back showing an alligator video swimming down the boat ramp. Click here to see it.

Lonely Boat Enjoying Safety Harbor,FL Waves

Safety Harbor, FL pier is such a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the water, boats, pelicans and other seabirds.  We often ride down there to just sit and enjoy the views of the clouds rushing by, the boats coming and going, and the birds doing their communal socializing.

Safety Harbor is one of my most favored areas simply because of the pier and the water.  There is also a Main St., with cute and interesting shops, antique stores and restaurants; a great place to do walk-about after eating lunch.

Florida's West Coast Water Views.

florida: Sunset Over New Port Richey, FL - 01/31/15 10:03 PM
Sunset Over New Port Richey, FL

Friday evening we were out showing houses (one was a bank foreclosure in which I was bitten by several hungry fleas); it grew dark on the way home and this was our escort sky for our journey.

We were driving so it may not be super sharp but I was fascinated by the redness from the sun setting in the west (to the right side of picture).  It only seemed to catch bits and pieces of the clouds.  I love the way the trees on the bottom right look like they are on … (17 comments)

florida: Old Truck, Old Driver at Dunedin Car Show - 10/04/14 11:03 PM
Yesterday, as we do often on weekends, we attended the Dunedin Car Show.  Dunedin is in Pinellas County on the west coast just about 30 miles south of New Port Richey. Dunedin is a lovely town and has a great downtown area which was perfect for the car show. Lots of small antique stores, etc.
Of course, what I enjoy always is the care and love shown on the vehicles by their owners. (We didn't take Miss Marilyn because we had to show houses right after this visit). And I especially enjoy the humor that is displayed by the owners.
