The Suncoast Arts Fest was last weekend at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. Pasco County’s own Emerging Artists were on display with many of their wonderful exhibits. The Arts Fest was sponsored by Wesley Chapel Nissan.The Arts Fest is poduced by “Fine Arts of the Suncoast, Inc.” a non-profit organization that helps promote cultural awareness in Pasco County. Orchid Sunday in New Port Richey-Florida Okay, she opened up on Saturday but I didn’t have time to upload her picture so here she is on Sunday. This is one of our newer orchids and she’s really pretty. Orchids are so beautiful and fairly easy to grow; you just can't overwater them. They thrive on neglect. The Cocktail Tree- Only for FloridaI found a new tree called the Cocktail Tree. It’s a citrus tree that produces both lemons and limes. It does need a tropical or sub-tropical climate to grow in. Aren’t we lucky to be in one of those?It is a beautiful & breezy 78 degrees in my back yard. You gotta love Florida weather. Snow in Celebration-Florida The town of Celebration-Florida near Walt Disney World, has a lovely old-fashioned downtown square. Each year, amazingly, it snows at this exact time of the year (every night!) It happened to be about 53° that evening with lots of wind off the lake so it was easy to pretend this was real snow and the children had so much fun. The next morning it was 46°. My favorite Orchid is blooming-Does that make her a Christmas Orchid I’m sharing her with you because she is just lovely. She’s not red or green but how can you not love those soft peaches, lilacs and yellows? Orchids bloom all year in Florida. And, Craig grows them all outside (we have about 30); we only take them in when it hits freezing here which does happen once or twice a winter, usually in January or February. We spent Sunday afternoon at Coachman Park which sits along the water in Clearwater, Florida. The event was Christmas Under the Oaks Arts & Crafts Show which is held each year and has been for the past 35 years. Presented by the Clearwater Junior Women’s Club, Inc., this is always a fun event to go to and stroll around on a beautiful Fall afternoon.

Last Sunday afternoon, at Mezzaluna Pizzeria, Yappy Hour was celebrated with vendors, doggies in costume, music and great Italian food on the patio.
Everyone got very excited when the doggies gathered for the Costume Contest and a winner was chosen: although they were all so cute that must have been hard for the judges to decide. The little bee won!

He’s apparently working to keep the crows away from these guys at Fresh Market in Clearwater Hope Methodist Church in Trinity has a huge Pumpkin Patch for you to peruse to your hearts content. Hope United Methodist Church in Trinity, Florida. Located at 2200 Little Road, south of SR 54. The blue one on the bottom left intrigues me.
