Rainy Day On The Pond In Timber Greens
It's rained most of the day yesterday; sometimes heavy; sometimes not. The pond next to our house in Timber Greens is a great indicator of the impact of the rain, I like watching the little bubbles that pop up as a result of a rain drop. No Sand Hill Cranes splashing in the pond. I think they probably got wet enough just searching for food.

We awoke to pouring rain this morning, and it continued for quite a while. I glanced out the window and saw our wild turkey tribe wandering around the pond and golf course. Some of the guys were proudly displaying their tails.
They seemed to be enjoying the berries on my Lantana bush.

I was outside having a chat with a couple of my favorite neighbors, the Sandhill family, when Mr. Sandhill decided to entertain us with an Irish jig. Mrs. Sandhill looks a little embarrassed but we all just took it in stride. Hey, everyone has to have fun and relax once in a while.
It it looks like they are checking out our sign. Maybe they weren't sure this was the right house.

Maggie discovered packing boxes in her home the other day and she seems to be wondering what they are doing there. Moving day is today although closing isn’t for a couple of weeks yet. Maggie isn’t going far so I will still be able to see her; her parents bought a home just a couple of blocks away. They'r not leaving Timber Greens!
