South Florida real estate seems to be starting the new year off on the right foot, interest rates sit today at another record low, single family home sales in the region were up strongly in my last article and everyone in the office seems to be in such a great mood. Pending Home Sales Remain Steady in Juno Beach

The local real estate market continues to show amazing strength. If one reads the paper or turns on the TV news one would think that the sky is falling. From the front lines of the south Florida real estate market and I am active throughout Palm Beach and Martin Counties I can tell you somebody forgot to tell home buyers in our area. Inventories continue to shrink and finding properties continues to be a challenge. The hottest segments continue to be single family homes under $400,000 and well priced waterfront properties.

The local real estate market continues to chug on down the road towards another season and our northern friends can already be seen around town. Every time I drive by one of the clubs a truck is out front unloading cars. It will be interesting to see the impact they have on real estate sales in the upcoming months. The local real estate market continues to chug on down the road towards another season and we can count the weeks on our hands when our northern friends start pulling into town. Sales have flattened, inventories continue to shrink, interest rates are at all-time record lows and today it is once again time to dig into the pending home sales date for the north county region.

Watching the inventory levels continue their monumental drop has really been a thing of beauty. Month after month we report new annual lows in home inventory levels throughout the north county area. This month is no different as we again need to adjust the scale on our charts to handle the new lows. Every month at this time we take a look at the level of pending real estate sales in the north county area as it is the most important metric when determining what future sales will be. Everyone had an amazing spring with stronger sales than we have had in years. Interest rates remain at historic lows, we have seen an interesting drop in foreclosures and inventory levels are at year long lows. Sales reported here for June were tremendous and things are looking up. Or are they?

Thirty days ago I reported here how every one of my main market areas in north Palm Beach County with the lone exception of Palm Beach Gardens reported increases in pending home sales for the third month in a row, most of which set new year long highs. These statistics showed a local real estate market that continues to recover quite nicely.
