clean: League City Open House- Lean.Clean.Green 2010

The League City Open House will be on April 17, 2010 at League Park from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The League City Council members Neil Baron, Mick Phalen, and Mike Lee came up with a new program called Lean.Clean.Green to encourage residents to live a healthy lifestyle, go green and keep League City beautiful. Lets talk Garages. Some tips and thoughts on your garage when selling. Bottom line, keep them empty, clear and clean. If your car drips oil, fill a pan with cat litter and set it under the drip. Then try and clean any grease stains. You can also use a piece of foil on cardboard for a temporary drip pan. Clean up oil and grease stains in the garage by applying paint thinner, then covering them with cat litter, dry cement, or sand, and letting the absorbent remain on the sopt overnight. clean: White Rooms...Some Favorites

I love the streamlined white, off-white, neutral look. Very liveable, pretty, clean and classy. All elements I love, even down to the carrera marble in the kitchen. I also love the hints of black. These are most definetley inspirational rooms. Beautiful designs from all around the country, are always a canvas for our own designs. These are divine...oogle away!

clean: Has Home Staging Gone Sterile?

Home Staging is about cleanliness and the less is more theory, but lately, I've seen homes that have been taking a sterile approach. They have become more like operating rooms, than warm inviting spaces. There is a balance between the two. Granted you want to see space, and cleanliness, and counters. But home buyer's also need to see a home that is attractive and illuminates warmth. Clutter is something a homeowner can purge. A home staging professional can also guide and give them advice on what to clear out. But if a home stager or real estate agent wants you to completely clear (5 comments)
