2011 December Blogging Challenge Day 31 Saturday.  What I did for the business today.  Whew, last day of blogging challenge and I made it.  I have to say, it wasn't too bad, however, during the Christmas season it was tough.  However, I did always keep track of the business, I don't think a day goes by that certain aspects aren't taken care of.
So the last day of the year was pretty uneventful, which is good, since next week we will be picking up 3 to maybe 4 houses that sold, and we have to remove our inventory.

2011 December Blogging Challenge Day 30 Friday.  What I did for the business today.  Yes, still on vacation, will come back ready for the new season.  I was able to see so many beautiful sights, including home decor design ideas and staging ideas, that I can incorporate.  
Today, I was able to finish invoices.
Check emails.
Check phone messages.
Check social media.

Still on vacation, but working remotely, as we sometimes do.
I finished proposal and sent it out.  
Talked to a client about a referral.
Got invoices ready to be sent out for clients that have rentals out with us.
Checked emails.
Checked social media.
Phone messages/calls.

Lemonade Day is Sunday, May 3rd in Houston, Texas.  Lemonade Day is a city-wide event that is happening all over the country.  It was started to teach kids entrepreneurial skills on starting and running a business.  Kids from all over Houston will have lemonade stands set-up to help them better understand how a business is run.  It will teach them to set goals, develop a business plan, have a budget, have investors, even customer service.

A citywide national day of prayer will be 11:30-1:30 in Jones Plaza, 601 Louisiana.  It will be the 57th Annual  "America Unite in Theme" citywide prayer to be held with Suzette Caldwell of United Methodist and Steve Riggle Grace Community Church.
A mini-concert will take place the first 45 minutes.  Everyone is invited to attend of all faiths.
