On a recent consultation, I came across something that was interesting. The owner had a small enclosed patio area, hmmm, it looks like it could have potential, and I noticed that it had a hot tub, and it was on. As I walked closer I noticed, there were live Koi swimming around in the Hot tub. Long story short, the hot tub wasn't working properly, and the hole was there in the patio and ground for it. I went to a home yesterday, that I was in the process of staging. I had recommended getting it cleaned before the staging began, but that didn't happen, but they did manage to clean while I was in the middle of staging. They moved and rearranged all of my strategically placed accessories! This has not happened before...usually, cleaning services clean around things, not move and put back in the wrong place. These rooms were done "on the fly" using leftovers. We had not intended to stage them. This room had the homeowners original furniture in it from when she was a teen 30+ years ago. To be cost efficient I was able to split the twin beds up, paint them black and use them in two rooms instead of one. Both rooms were painted a darker color to warm things up.
