Redesign Etc., was chosen to stage a 20 story building called Three Riverway Plaza for a video shoot. We staged their lobby and elevator areas, conference and refreshment room, exercise facilities & saunas, outdoor cafe, executive parking area. It was quite the production, and weekend. It moved at a very fast pace. As it was being shot by a film crew out of California, so we were always trying to stay a step ahead of them. This one was definitely thinking out of the box. Once a wet bar is cleared out of all of the liquor, glasses, ice buckets, and souvenir glasses, there's usually nothing left. Staging can be a challenge, I found these little limes, and cherries, and it added a nice touch, and some color to the wet bar, it was behind closet doors, so it's a little element of suprise, and adds to a lackluster area. I am currently using the RAZER, and have dropped it I don't know how many times, the window is cracked, and it's getting a little wonky to say the least. It still works but I think it may be time for a new one. Do I get another RAZER or a Blackberry? Do you really use all the features of a Blackberry, and is the increased rate for the service plan worth it. I have AT&T, the new (Cingular), and like the plan with the roll-over minutes, so I would like to keep that. Any recommendations on cell phones that are must haves … (10 comments)

I went to a home yesterday, that I was in the process of staging. I had recommended getting it cleaned before the staging began, but that didn't happen, but they did manage to clean while I was in the middle of staging. They moved and rearranged all of my strategically placed accessories! This has not happened before...usually, cleaning services clean around things, not move and put back in the wrong place. After reading Kimberly Westers post "Staging may be a new industry..." I had also received a similar call asking if I'd be interested in staging 7 new homes. Sounds great right! They wanted them done for free! They had spent $100,000 in advertising and expected 2,000 people to come through. They would use your name, logo in print media where possible and the event brochure. A new master planned community with 7 builders, 500 homes, priced at 700k-800k, but they only want it staged for 9 days.
