business: What Happened To Loyalty Among Friends? - 08/17/08 06:14 PM

Today I was talking with a friend that I have had since grade school and found out that he and another mutual friend bought a house with another agent. I was at a loss for words when I found out this news.
I did not know whether to be angry or be hurt by this situation. I mean what happened? I thought for sure they would have used my services to buy a home. business: Agent "Allegedly" Shot By Home Seller - 10/08/07 12:17 PM
El Cajon, CA. A Real Estate Agent was shot (allegedly) shot buy the home seller. So it goes that the seller and the agent were arguing about offers on the sellers property. A neighbors description and recollection of the agent do not pose a pretty picture of agents. business: Bailout, Bailout, Bailout!!! - 10/01/07 01:36 PM
A new bill is being proposed to help out struggling home owners. This bill would make changes the the bankruptcy code to allow judges the power to wipe out debt or lowering the principal and or interest. This would be a step that would be used instead of repayment. While this is supposed to be good for the sellers, it is mentioned that it could be good for Lenders as well. I fail to see what difference this could actually make. Here is the link to the article I read talking about the new bill.

The only thing I can think of is to take a hit on my commission and give it to the buyers agent. I currently have a 5% commission agreement on this home and I will take 1% instead of the initial 2%. In kind I will give the other percent to the buyers agent, raising their commission to 4%, to entice them … (7 comments)
