When you think about how vast the ocean is and how incredibly tiny these guys are, it truly boggles the mind. If the were like humans and knew the odds, they would probably stay on dry land and say "NO WAY!" As a result the species would have died out a long time ago. . . . . But being turtles (Loggerheads to be precise) they don't know the odds, are therefore blissful in their ignorance and so their species continues. We have all heard the saying "Thank Goodness It's Friday!" (I have a 4 year old that thinks she's a parrot and therefore I have an exceptionally clean mouth, but yes I know what most people say! ;) Usually this saying is uttered in relief that the work week is over, well almost, and fun, freedom from clients and relaxation is not far off. It makes us dread the coming Morose Monday and live in fear of the seemingly endless work week after the weekend. Not such a good thing. So why not change it?
