The new (and only) Spokane Trader Joe's opened today and I didn't go! Imagine that! Here I am, a self-proclaimed foodie who has befriended every non-GMO, anti-Monsanto, sustainable agriculture, support-a-local-farmer group on Facebook. I read EVERY label on EVERY piece of food that I feed my family. I actually emailed Trader Joe's about a month ago to find out if their products are GMO-free. * I frequent the Spokane Farmers' Market and grow whatever I can in my backyard garden. And, yet, in spite of my love for good food, I missed this once in a lifetime opportunity! Sigh. . . .just … (22 comments)
