Portland's Rose Festival celebrates 100 years this June. This eleven day event is a local favorite for many generations. This year the festivities kick off on May 31, 2007. Each year all of the local Portland high schools select students to become a part of the Rose Court to represent their school and compete for the coveted Rose Queen title. On a warm, spring day I ventured out into our fair town of Sandy, Oregon. Today, I decided to pay a visit to a business that has been in Sandy for many years. Wasson Brothers Winery is owned and operated by Oregon natives Jim Wasson and his twin brother, John. The Wasson Brothers have been in the wine-making business locally for 26 years.
