This past Friday afternoon, Kathy and I packed up the Cadillac and headed down to "The Lake" (Lake of the Ozarks) to go for a motorcycle ride. We stayed at our friend's (Bill and Teri Beezley) home that night and then went up to Lake Ozark Harley Davidson the next morning to pick up our bike for the weekend. Our bike, a beautiful Black and Blue 2008 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra that I named "Bruiser" was absolutely gorgeous! I've got a question for you...how many of you are familiar with The Lake Of The Ozarks? While it's pretty well known here in the Midwest, I've got a sneaky suspicion that a good number of you folks outside of the region aren't aware of this gem! Lake of the Ozarks is a 93 mile long, 55,000 acre, man made lake located in south central Missouri, about 3 hours or so from St. Louis and slightly less from Kansas City. Over the last couple of weeks I've been in a different sort of situation that what I am used to. That is, I was buying a home for myself and in doing so had to make application with a different lender. It was weird being the borrower and not the lender, but fortunately I knew Bill And Teri Beezley from Clayton Mortgage Associates in Osage Beach Missouri (at the lake).
