HAPPY CANADA DAY - JULY 1, 2011 I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Canada Day on July 1st. This will be Canada's 144th birthday. Quite a young country, in the grand scheme of things. Vancouver will be celebrating with lots of activities. There will be concerts all day at Canada Place, from 10am - 7pm. At 7pm, the Canada Day Parade marches from Georgia Street to Burrard & Hastings, complete with marching bands, floats and multicultural dancers.
