Google+ Pirates, Photos, Foodies and More When I first started out on Google+ to promote my Vancouver Home Staging business a few months ago, I thought, ho hum... just another social media site to have to navigate. I've always struggled with Twitter, and I find Facebook pretty mindless. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Google+ would take me on such a universal, creative and awe inspiring journey! RAINCAMP 2.0 - SEATTLE Day one of Raincamp 2.0 was amazing! Things started off with a bang, of course, with Ben Kinney and Bob Stewart giving us the lowdown on capturing leads and how to get the word out about who you are and what you have to offer, through Twitter, Facebook, Classifieds on Craigs List, Press releases etc. Great information, and these presenters always make the computer world interesting.
Perhaps the most entertaining presentation of the day came from Dave Lefco of J & D Foods. What, you may ask, does this have to do with social media and (61 comments)

My Bags Are Packed, I'm Ready to Go... To Raincamp Seattle! Computer? Check Name tag? Check Raincamp ticket? Check Brain for learning? Oh, my gosh - it must be around here somewhere!!!! Enthusiasm? Too much to stuff into one suitcase Peg Barcelo-Jackson? No, I can't stuff Peg into my suitcase either, but I know she's on a plane right now, headed to Seattle. Excited? Check, check, check! Yes, folks, I'm off to Raincamp Seattle. This will be my second visit to Raincamp - last year I went down to Raincamp Bellingham. Ok, I think I've done it! I have finally put together my business Facebook page for Exit Stage Right. Many people here on Active Rain have helped make this happen, whether they are aware of it or not! This all started thanks to Marianne Cherico's recent post on business and social media. She really made me think about the importance of using the Facebook tool to help grow my business. This isn't new information for me.
