ozark chamber of commerce: Lambert's Cafe - Home Of The Throwed Rolls - An Ozark's Attraction - 01/24/11 01:43 PM
Lambert's Cafe - Home Of The Throwed Rolls - An Ozark's Attraction I had checked out the new Ozark Chamber of Commerce directory and noticed several new businesses that have joined the chamber in the past year.  There was also, the same companies that have helped the Ozark Chamber for more years than I've lived here.
What the book doesn't show is the number of businesses that closed in 2010.  Driving to work today, I noticed a great Mexican Restaurant had closed it's doors over the weekend, while another restaurant a few blocks away is still up and going strong.
Then, there's Lambert's Cafe.  Commonly known as … (4 comments)

Behind the float was one of our agents driving the "REPO Bus".  He works mainly … (1 comments)

ozark chamber of commerce: 2009 Ozark Christmas Parade - An Ozark's Yearly Event - 11/20/09 11:46 PM
The 2009 Ozark Christmas Parade is one of the largest parade in the Springfield area.  This year is no different.
When I joined the Ozark Chamber of Commerce, the parade was one of the biggest events they handled.  Over time, it was turned over to Main Street.
Main Street decided this year to cancel the parade and the Chamber quickly took it back.  Christmas would not be the same without the Ozark Christmas Parade.
Starting at Highway 65, behind the old Fasco building, the parade will end up at the Ozark Square, about a mile and a half route.  It starts at 6:00 … (4 comments)

ozark chamber of commerce: Springfield Mo Homes - What You Can Expect Of Me At Our First Meeting - 02/02/08 01:06 PM

What you can expect of me at our first meeting when searching for Springfield Mo Houses, including Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and Rogersville?
Making a good impression is very important when to me when first meeting new clients.
I try to get as much information as I can before I agree to meet potential buyers at a home.  If the property does not fit their criteria, I will describe it to them and agree to meet them at the office, before we preview.
Sometimes that doesn't work and (against my better judgment), I'll agree to go ahead and show the home they called … (4 comments)

ozark chamber of commerce: This "Ain't My First Rodeo" - 03/03/07 02:10 PM
Every year the Ozark Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Ozark Business Expo.
Preparing for the Expo is usually a 2 week long preparation for me.  Designing a new powerpoint presentation with all the latest listings, ordering promotional items, organizing help from all the other realtors.....usually, pleading for help!!!
As a self employed business owner, I'm excited to meet new businesses, reacquaint myself with current businesses, old friends and clients.
And what better place to meet than at the beautiful new Ozark High School.  This year, there will be Over 90 Ozark Businesses show casing their products  & services, along with the fire department, civic clubs … (2 comments)
