With more than 200 orders waiting for the new $2.2 million PiperJet, the plane is moving through the design and build phases into flight testing this week. The Vero Beach home of the new PiperJet announces the long anticipated public unveiling for late August or early September. Vero Beach was successful in retaining Piper Aircraft, one of our major employers that adds about a half million dollars to the local economy every year, with a financial incentive program funded collaboratively by state and local entities.
