Inventory levels in Boulder county and the surrounding area communities continue to lag behind last year's inventory levels. This of course is placing buyers in a bit more of a competition with each other as new homes come on the market.  There is definitely pent up demand, making our lower inventory levels seem even lower.
Our local market has definitely switched from a buyers market to a sellers market.  Still I recommend that sellers take their time in prepping their Boulder County homes (and surrounding community homes) and getting them … (1 comments)

According to DSNews, home affordability has reached the highest level EVER, since records started being kept in 1970.  In other words, housing affordability is at the highest level it has ever been over the last 42 years!

Puppies arrived from Tulsa, Oklahoma today thanks to the Petsmart Charties Rescu Wagin.  65.... yes 65 puppies  and 5 adult dogs arrived in Boulder at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley today around 4:30.   Some were wiggly, some where shy, some more social than other.  One thing is for sure... they are all incredibly adorable and ready for their furever homes.

Boulder Issues New Roof Mandate
If you live in the city of Boulder, you may be required to replace your roof before 2014.  The city of Boulder has issued a new roof mandate that will require all homes within the city of Boulder which currently have a roof covering which consists of 50% or more of wood by volume to be replaced before January 1, 2014.
