Louisville, A Community for Kids Louisville is not only a town, it is a "community". A community that is all about families and kids and reaching out to interact and help each other. I absolutely love a story I just read in the local paper which highlighted a special project which is being spear headed by a mom of three, Amanda Hassenstab. She came up with a great idea of a "Community Sample Day." Louisville's own fire station located on Main Street received a piece of history from the 9/11 tragedy ~ a piece of rusted steel ~ a remnant of the World Trade Center. It's a reminder of all the lives lost, 10 years ago, on 9/11 and the sacrifice made by so many of New York's finest fire fighters who gave all to serve others.

Having lived in Boulder County for more than 34 years, I love taking a morning to meet a friend or colleague at a local restaurant or coffee shop at least a couple of times a week.
