louisville: Louisville, A Community for Kids - 01/19/12 03:14 AM
Louisville, A Community for Kids
Louisville is not only a town, it is a "community".  A community that is all about families and kids and reaching out to interact and help each other.
I absolutely love a story I just read in the local paper which highlighted a special project which is being spear headed by a mom of three, Amanda Hassenstab.  She came up with a great idea of a "Community Sample Day."  It is such a great idea, and one that can only come together and actually happen in a a place like Louisville which is a Community for … (2 comments)

Conoco Phillips is still planning to build in Louisville on the 432-acre campus, but the time line has been slightly delayed.  The City of Louisville is still awaiting the final plans they were hoping to receive in July.  However, it is likely to be a little later; perhaps August or September before Conoco Phillips submits the plans.
Once the company pulls the required permits, the City of Louisville will collect more than $8 million in a variety of fees and taxes.  Louisville has to spend a large chunk of the funds towards infrastructure and/or services it must provide to Conoco Phillips, but … (0 comments)

louisville: Setting the Stage! - 05/21/10 01:03 PM
Among the wonderful contacts I met this week were two women from SpaceLift (www.SpaceLiftColorado.com)   If you haven't already guessed their profession from the name of their business, they are professional stagers.
As a service to my new clients, I offered to provide (at my cost) up to four hours of staging service.  The four hours will definitely help to more quickly sell their home and at a higher price.
Rather than just having the stagers come in and stage only the key areas, we took a bit of a different approach.  I asked them to come in for two hours up front … (1 comments)

louisville: Boulder County Home Values - 03/09/09 04:47 PM
With so much negative news on our economy and horror stories about declining home values, I've had a number of clients, friends and family members ask me recently about their home values.  They all ask pretty much the same question: "how much less is my home worth now than it was last year."
While the single-family median sales prices have declined in Boulder County, the declines are much less than the national average of 9.8%.  Longmont experienced the largest decline down to $219,900 (8.4%).  Boulder's median sales price fell to $538,000 (2.3%) and Lafayette was down to $311,500 (2.3%).
Existing home sells fell 14.5% in Boulder … (0 comments)
