There is a current Fruit Fly Spraying in Anaheim project.  If you, like me, live near Euclid/91; your trees are probably being sprayed.
I was approached by a California Department of Food and Agriculture employee yesterday to explain the spraying.  He said they are spraying a very small amount of attractant/insecticide on each tree on my property.  They are spraying high up.  I understand that people and pets should avoid the spray site for 4 hours.
The press release today said they are also seizing any fruit on your trees.  They are also asking that you wash any fruit currently harvested.  … (5 comments)
