This is a story of installing an attic fan.  During a home inspection last week, we came across this attic fan.  I'm getting ahead of myself.
In the kitchen, we noted the bad install of the microwave oven.  Whomever did it, did not know what they were doing.  We didn't think about the missing range hood until later; when we went into the attic.
I know you have already guessed what we found, but here is the proof:
