Putting is half of the game of golf, is that right? At Sun City Mesquite 55 + community for active adults in Mesquite Nv, residents have their own 18 Hole Putting Green. Not part of the Conestoga Golf Course, this is a feature for residents only.
The first time I tried it, I thought "Cool, like miniature golf!" Not hardly it is a tough exercise in skill, or in my case, lack of skill. Fun, but hard.

Moving to Mesquite Nevada - these guys do a wonderful job moving your furniture.
You might need a truck unloaded or loaded, or maybe just move some stuff in from storage. Whether you need a big job or just want to move your furniture around the house ...
Sometimes I will have buyers who build a new home and put their furniture in storage until it is done, I usually recommend a mover, it is much more work than it looks like!

The Mesquite NV Real Estate Market is busy with low inventory and prices holding. Several subdivisions are going up in price with new listings selling quickly. Realtors have to be on the ball and notify waiting buyers as soon as a listing goes on the market. New homes are selling at higher prices than last year, the builders are working hard to get these new homes done on time.
And we are hearing from all over the country that real estate is moving - not just Mesquite NV.

Is your Mesquite home staged to sell? Or is it just beautifully decorated to your tastes? Most sellers do not realize how well their home can show - and some staging tips are simple and inexpensive. A seller should look at their own home from a buyer's eyes.
Staging doesn't just mean putting out some cute decor and a welcome mat - :)

Cucina Italiana Ristorante- Mesquite Nevada New Italian Restaurant opened for business in July 2012 and local residents have been enjoying the great food and casual, yet elegant atmosphere. Full bar service and formal dining room. Feel comfortable wearing your golf attire or dress up for a lovely night out.Just went to the official Grand Opening today, fantastic!
The food was wonderful, saw a lot of friends enjoying the hor d'oeuvres, fine wine and champagne. Quite a success with a great turnout of Mesquite locals.

Mesquite has "enjoyed" a hot weather streak for about 4 months. Wednesday, I washed my car. It rained that evening. Thursday, I washed my dog - it rained as soon as I got him to the dog park. Now we are waiting for a storm to hit - I see it coming from the southeast, usually I can see Scenic Arizona from here.
Just wish it were a bigger storm to help put out some of the fires threatening folks in the southwest states.

Sunset Greens in Mesquite NV is a community of about 700 homes - this is a large, well organized garage sale with all kinds of things for sale. Furniture, dishes, patio furnishings, clothing, tools, knick knacks, crafts - maybe even a golf cart or two.

The new St George, Utah airport has been open for over a year now - much closer to Mesquite NV than McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Most flights are to Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, but that means that you can fly anywhere with a connecting flight - good news for Canadians, too. Both Delta and United have flights operated by Skywest.

One of my favorite things to do is to take I-15 north, get off at Beaver Dam-Littlefield exit. Take a drive on old Highway 91, then left through the Shivwits Paiute Reservation to the reservoir at Gunlock State Park, about a 45 minute drive from Mesquite. I actually stumbled upon this great little lake when I took a wrong turn while looking for the Kayenta subdivision on the way to Santa Clara, Utah. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, no matter what time of year it is.

Prairie Schooner is one of the newest developments - hidden right around the corner from the Pioneer Recreation Center, and right on the 9th Fairway of the Conestoga Golf Course.

Pretty scary!
Mesquite Police Department will be blocking off Yucca Street next to City Hall on Monday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for the fourth annual Mesquite Trunk or Treat party.
Local businesses and residents have volunteered donations, as well as their time to pass out Halloween candy to all the "little monsters" who attend.
With so many gated communities and second homes in Mesquite, not all neighborhoods here are ghost and goblin friendly. Many of our snowbirds haven't arrived for the winter yet.

Another Mesquite Nevada custom home sold in 30 days - the good ones go quick! This home was in one of the higher price ranges of MLS listings here, they do not get as many showings as the lower priced homes in our area. Yet the higher end homes that were previously on the market for a long time are starting to sell. Could be a sign of the real estate recovery in several neighborhoods in Mesquite.
