Things to do in and around Mesquite NV - Santa Clara is just 30 minutes from Mesquite Nevada, a short trip east through the amazing Virgin River Gorge. If you have time for a scenic drive, take the back way from Mesquite - east on I-15, take the Beaver Dam Littlefield exit, go through Beaver Dam and take old Highway 91 to Santa Clara. It's a desert out here but Hafen Park in Mesquite NV has more to offer than just a picnic area - we have fishing - real fish! And how do they get there? The city stocks the pond every month or so - trout in the winter and catfish in the warmer months. Mesquite has many parks, most are pet friendly all are kid friendly - I take my little poodle out to socialize at all of them. Mikey has a lot of friends in town. Not everyone likes to golf in Mesquite or try to get lucky at one of our 4 casinos. One way to enjoy our area is to just take a walk! We have miles of trails around Mesquite - if you have the energy, you can walk from one end of town to the other, and enjoy our Mesquite City Parks on the way. In the summer it gets pretty hot here and you might not want to be out - but it is so nice once that sizzling sun goes down. That would be a great time to go down to the … (15 comments)
