Took a hike up the AT to McAfee's Knob this past weekend. I'd never been up there, and I had no idea what I was missing. Absolutely gorgeous, you've got to see it in person. McAfee's Knob, on the Appalachian Trail McAfee's Knob, on the Appalachian Trail, Outside Catawba, VA, McAfee's Knob is one of the most scenic - and most photographed - sites on the Appalachian Trail.
