Spam on the grocery shelves. Spam in my Inbox. Spam in my mailbox. Spam while I'm driving??
Alright. I know that there are a lot of honest investors out to help homeowners that are in a pickle. But, in my experience, the honest investors are usually not associated with Yellow Sign Roadside Spam.

I am quite diligent when it comes to providing feedback on homes that I show. I have been on the admin. side of the real estate business for long enough... I know how frustrating and time consuming it is to try and track down feedback for my sellers. ((Agents are hard to get ahold of... I'll save that pet peeve for another blog...)) Sellers are very anxious to hear what other agents have to say about their property, as are listing agents.

I have heard that it would be detrimental to the homebuying public, and especially to real estate agents. Now, I have a vague idea what it is, but not a good idea at all.

Start months in advance. Don’t skimp on advertising the sale (signs, newspaper, HOA newsletter…) .You want it to be a success.Ask for neighborhood participation. According to a recent NAR REPORT, there are a lot of Green Real Estate Agents- and no, I do not mean environmentally conscience. Yes. Some of them should be in the business. In fact, some of the brightest agents I know have only been in the business a couple years. But some of them, well... like in any industry ... some of them were "jumping on the bandwagon" of what they saw as "easy money" (or so they thought...).

How many of you set aside a specific amount of time, a specific time of day to to lead generation and do goal setting/planning?
Well, besides the times needed for "putting out fires" ... time blocking = money making.
