huntley montana: Home for sale on the golf course, in the cozy town of Huntley Montana - 09/20/11 04:36 AM
I found this home for sale in a golf course community that has the kind of charm and upscale finishes I would look to expect in a more upscale price range for the price of $395,000.  The Pryor Creek Golf course is pretty good sized, do you like to golf?
Over 4,100 square feet of open living space, with the backyard right on the fairway.  My favorite part of this home is the open kitchen dinning room, very Montana!  Huge eating bar to saddle up to with friends and family.
The school system is excellent in this small town community.  You … (2 comments)

huntley montana: My East Slope Internet Guy Is Really Good, Small Town Service - 01/12/11 02:09 PM
My East Slope Internet Guy Is Really Good, Small Town Service.
Tonight I was having a little internet connection trouble so I gave my internet provider a call, it's after 6pm.
The wife of this family team always answers the phone with the sweetest voice, you'd think she had a fresh batch of cookies she just pulled out of the oven.  Her husband Bill is the techy brains of this outfit, I don't know how old he is, but let's just say most guys his age retired 10 years ago!
Bill I say, I don't have a connection and I've done … (3 comments)

huntley montana: Let The Quilt Shows Begin - 01/09/11 01:26 PM
I know it's early, but already in Billings Montana we're having a quilt show at the local Montana State University Billings Library.  This all started when one of the special library workers wanted to brighten up the dreary gray winter with beautiful colorful quilts.  It just seemed like a good idea to hang them in the library so that students and the general public could enjoy them.
The show opens this Wednesday and lasts until the end of February, during regular hours of the library operation, which includes every day of the week.  The address is 1500 University Drive.

huntley montana: How's the Market in Shepherd, Huntley, Worden, Ballantine and Pompey's Pillar this December 2010? - 12/06/10 10:30 AM
How's the Market in Shepherd, Huntley, Worden, Ballantine and Pompey's Pillar this December 2010?  The Shepherd area is leading the pack in sales volume.
Let's look at supply and demand:
Supply = number of unsold homes on the market, includes active, pending and contingent listings Demand = number of homes that sold and closed during the period Shepherd Montana Homes For Sale and Sold in the past 90 days
37 Unsold homes for sale
15 Sales over the last 90 days
At a rate of 5 sales per month, it would take 7.4 months to sell all of the current inventory

Hooray we have some good movement in the "East of Billings" market.  Seems as though this spring like weather has sparked some interest in moving.
Today I ran the numbers for area 10 and found that we have 14 properties under contract right now!  Here are the average numbers of interest:
$171,107--Average price of a home under contract right now 3 bedrooms and 2 baths--Average $89.72--Average price per square foot 1,936--Average square foot size of the home 67--Average number of days on the market 30% of listings are under contract right now (that's good news) I think the east end … (2 comments)
