I apologize for not giving any updates recently on the Tampa Bay Rays, however after losing Game 1, 3 & 4 of the World Series to the Phillies of Philadelphia, I began to think if it can really happen. Not really. Imagine the headlines in Friday morning's newspapers..." RAYS WIN WORLD SERIES". With 3 games remaining, the RAYS need to win all 3 to make believers out of everyone who doubted their ability to win. The Tampa Bay RAYS, beat the Boston Red Sox in game 7 of the American League Championship Series on Sunday evening and are now headed for their first ever World Series against the Phillies of Philadelphia. Game 7, a pivotal game for both, the Rays and the Sox. Going into the eight inning, the RAYS held onto a slight lead, however, the Bosox loaded up the bases. Going with the averages, the RAYS manager, (hopefully Manager of the Year) changed pitchers several times, and the RAYS were able to pitch their way out of the inning.
