This morning I woke to big, fluffy white flakes falling from the sky! It's 9 a.m. in Waterville Valley and - as the name implies - the White Mountains of New Hampshire are, indeed, white! (Photo below: You can't tell from this picture, but it's snowing hard and obscuring views of the mountains!) With snow falling, it seems appropriate to mention what's new for this winter at Waterville Valley Ski Resort. The ski resort plans on opening Saturday, Nov. 21.
