Bodouva, Jr. The Sands Point and Port Washington area housing market transactions have been steadily increasing since May, 2012 from prior years, per the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. In February, 2013 for the first time in years, the number of real estate transactions by percent entered the "double digits," (11.2%), as it also did in March 2013, (14.6%), and continued to rise even higher through April 2013, (18.7).
