I've lived in the Port Washington, Sands Point and Manhasset area most of my life, since 1977 and no matter where in the world I’ve travelled; “home” always offered the highest quality of life. I started my real estate career in 1985 as a licensed salesperson. I had been and still am a real estate investor, renovating houses and selling them for a profit. Local Market: The Sands Point and Port Washington area housing market has been steadily increasing since May, 2012 from prior years, per the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. In February, 2013 for the first time in years, the number of real estate transactions by percent has entered the "double digits," (11.2%), as it also did in March 2013, (14.6%), and continued to rise even higher through April 2013; (April numbers will be in next week’s report).
