Wellington Florida is a town that is located in what we call the "Western Communities" in the western part of Palm Beach County in South Florida.
Wellington is located about 14 miles from the beach and it only takes about 15 minutes to get to some of the nicest beaches. Wellington has nature trails and natural preserves.
There is a mix of people that live here: equestrians and suburbanites. We have some of the best baseball and soccer teams and then the best Winter Equestrian Festival in the world as well as International Polo.

And the story goes on and on... The Village Of Wellington just shut down their approval of Mische's Stadium Jumping proposal because the approval is only favoring one party- Stadium Jumping! Laurie Cohen decided to bring this up and to delay the vote stating it was only benefiting Stadium Jumping. The Village did approve to move it to vote at the rehearing on August 20th. There are landowners who are concerned about what this will do to their property values because of new restrictions it will place on horse arenas. The Publix grocer opened a walk in medical clinic in the Courtyard Shops in Wellington Florida. This is the first walk in clinic in Wellington Florida. It is called, " The Little Clinic". The address is: 13880 Wellington Trace, Wellington, Florida. The hours are: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., 8:30a.m. to 6:30 on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.on Sundays.
