It would be a challenge to find a recent national television newscast that doesn’t have a segment that focuses on or references the current housing market. As the President of the Huntington Board of REALTORS®, I answer questions about our real estate market on a regular basis. I get questions about staging a home to sell. lawrence county: Area Market Still Climbing

Now that we are a little over halfway into 2007, we can see how the first half of the year compared to the first half of 2006. The average sale price rose 5% to $136,115. The amount of houses sold increased by 9% with 732 residential properties sold. Lawrence County, Ohio had the biggest jump in number of sales with a 32% increase as our community continues to migrate across the Ohio River. More to come... (0 comments)
