The New Bronze "Kiss" is Returning to San Diego
Last March, I posted that this version of the " The Kiss" above , a sculpture designed by Seward Johnson Jr. was being removed from the Embarcadero area next to the Midway Museum. It was on loan and had been in place for several years and was showing a lot of signs of needing refurbishing. When it was to be removed , it was voted that it should be replaced with a permanent rendition that would cost about a million dollars and the funds would be raised by local donors. A … (34 comments)
